I opened the scroll and it said…

...it said nothing at all!  All I saw was just a dim purple light.  Confused, I  kept staring at it, and suddenly it started to get brighter and brighter- and brighter! Finally it was so bright I had to cover my eyes… seconds later, the light died down, and I carefully opened my eyes. The scroll was gone- and there in its place was a book on the table. I looked down at the cover, which read:

LORD STEBEL’S LAB: WHERE IT IS AND WHAT'S INSIDE

“Wow! I guess we will be needing this on our trip to the lab!” I said, totally amazed. 4l3x04 picked up the book and skimmed through the pages- then suddenly stopped.

He began reading out loud, “Chapter Three: Where The Lab Lays.  It says:  ‘My lab is located approximately at the quardenence 444 100 365.  It is at the edge of a dessert, next to a jungle biome; it is made of iron blocks. It appears small, but there is a basement.”

We were all amazed!  “So let’s go to the lab at the quardenence of 444 100 365! Start getting ready for the trip! We will leave in two days- meet at the helicopter landing pad on Zach’s ship in two days at 7:30am sharp!” 4l3x04 announced excitedly.

In those two days I prepped for the trip nonstop.  I studied the best and fastest path to get there and packed the essentials, like food and water. On the second day, we met at the helicopter landing pad on Zach’s ship, just as instructed, at 7:30am.  4l3x04 had a very concerned look on his face, however.

“We can't take the helicopter. I read in the Defense Systems chapter of Lord Stebles’ book that the lab has an emergency air force system in it, and whoever has taken over this lab is most likely going to use it. So, instead we will have to take Zach's ship across the ocean, then we will go to the place,however close to shore

Zach looked annoyed. “My ship!?!  It is too big, and has too many guns- way more then we need!”

“That's the point- lots of guns, lots of firepower. Did you happen to notice that on the next page of the book it shows a map of where the lab is? It’s near the ocean. Since it is near the ocean, one of us can stay back and shoot from the boat. Preferably you, Zach, because you can operate the ship the best - it is your ship after all,” 4l3x04 replied. “The rest of us will walk to the lab

“I see your point.  Alright, I agree to ride in my ship. I’ll stay in the ship and shoot from above to protect you guys,” Zach finally said.

Now that we had a plan, and were all agreed, I asked, “Are you guys all prepped for the trip?”

“Yep! Ready to go.” everyone responded.

We went to the top driving area of the ship. We released the ropes with a push of a button.

“Ready to leave!” I said excitedly.

“Alright, take us away!” Zach commanded. And then we were off, ready to fight!


The ship began to roar as we sailed away into the beautiful sea.

"we will arrive at approximately 5:20 AM tomorrow morning" zach exclaimed. we all slept in the quarters zach assigned to us I got room 233 everything was pretty nice but, the beds where awfully uncomfortable.

...“That's the problem,” said 4l3x04. “We do not know.  But we do know a way to find a scroll with a riddle that can help us find it. Although, unfortunately the riddle is at the bottom of the sea.”  

"It's at the bottom of the sea? We can't find it at the bottom of the sea! How can that help?!” I was so confused.

4l3x04 replied, “It can help because we have…”

...“It can help because we have a submarine with very good radar!”

“Wow, how long have you had this submarine?” I asked.

“I’ve had it for a few days- when I figured out about this whole problem,” he replied.

“Awesome.  So when are we going to take the sub out to look for this hidden scroll you talked about?” I asked.

“In about a week,” he said. “I’ve got a bunch of stuff to do before then.”

“A week- that's too long! I need them in a day!” I demanded.

“Why so soon?” 4l3x04 said, confused.

“Um, I guess I don't need them in a day. I’m just impatient. Take as long as you want.”  I decided to just wait. I went on a boating trip and did all sorts of fun stuff that week while I waited.

Then on the fifth day, he said he was ready with the sub. We went onto Captain Zach’s ship and there was 4l3x04, Steve and Zach and standing next to one state of the art submarine!  It was amazing.

“One gigantic sub, ready to submerge!” they said proudly. “We will go tomorrow at 7am.”

“Sounds great!” I said. “7:00am on the dot tomorrow - no dilly dallying!”

I set a timer for 6:30am, and then went to bed.

The next thing I knew I was awakened by a beep beep beep beep!  I smacked my alarm, clumsily got up, quickly got dressed and went to the ship.  They were getting ready to launch the sub.  It really was impressive.

“Jump right in!” Zach said, so I did.

I noticed some missiles and was surprised.  “Hey- what are those missiles on the sub for?” I asked curiously.

“Oh, they will protect us from the guardians,” he replied.

“What guardians?” I asked, bewildered.

“The ones that are guarding the ocean monument,” he replied.

“You did not tell me about an ocean monument!” I said, confused. It seemed like I was always the last to know anything!

“I didn’t? I was sure that I had,” he said.  “Well, anyway, the scroll is in an ocean monument guarded by a few elder guardians,” he said.

“A few!?! Elder guardians!?!” I exclaimed, still very confused.

“Yes, you heard me right. A few elder guardians,” he said. “I get why you are so confused-  we accidentally didn’t tell you the plan. We are going to shoot a ton of missiles at the ocean monument and suck it all up with a item vacuum.”

“Well, that is a bit more serious than I thought, but I am definitely going!” I exclaimed. “So let's go!”

Steve jumped in, then Zach then 4l3x04; the doors shut, and we submerged.  Down, down we went. The sea life was beautiful- tons of coral reef and fish.  So many colors.

“Hold on- we are going to go to speed mode!” Zach said.  I wondered what that meant.  I soon found out!

It was speed mode alright! We must have accelerated from 10 to 100 miles an hour- and so quickly. My stomach felt like it was in my throat. Everything around us was blurred for a while. Until suddenly, we stopped.

“I see something on the radar- very big and made out of prismarine. That's definitely an ocean monument,” he said. “We have to back off a little bit! That elder guardian can take us out in one hit! Our missiles can take them all out in two hits, but only if we are lucky and hit the center.”

I saw a cave in the distance.  I had an idea!  “Let’s hide in that cave over there. Then we’ll shoot the missiles through the cave towards them, and they will not see us.”  

We went into the cave down into the darkness.  It was super dark. Then we shot a missile right at them.  It shot through the dark water, and then...BOOM!  Two elder guardians died, and the monument started to collapse. BOOM! More parts of it started blowing up. We exited the cave, sped by the crumbling monument super fast, and collected some icons. The scroll flew right at us! Once the scroll got sucked up by the item vacuum, I rushed over to the chest connected to the item vacuum. I snatched the scroll out of the chest. Then we started to quickly move away. BOOM! An elder guardian shot us with a death beam! Water started to rush in the sub!

“NOOO!  We’re sinking!  Open the escape hatch!” someone screamed.

I had another idea. “WAIT!” I said. “Send a distress call first!”

Steve pushed the button. The hatch flew open and we swam out as fast as we could- thankfully the elder guardians did not get us as we swam at the top of the ocean. My heart was beating loudly in my chest.  A few minutes later, helicopters came in, swooped down, and rescued us.

We got home safely, and cleaned up. We had a meeting about the next step. I still had the scroll in my inventory. I got it out and showed the rest of us in a item frame. It said...

 

The Adventures Of AwesomeBen06 PART THREE

Like I said, it was so strange! People just started mysteriously vanishing in plain sight! Some people said it was the Greek gods taking them away, but I thought it was someone trying to get power over the world. I did not really know...but 4l3x04 was studying it at the time. He said that hundreds of years ago, someone figured out how to take people through other games. Games like Terraria, and Destiny. Those are two very unfamiliar games to everyone- well, everyone I know. This guy is kind of cool and strange. He lives in a iron lab in the desert, and his name is Lord Stebels. When he was near death, he downloaded his memories into a robot that looked like an exact replica of him when he was 14.    

“Ok, so how does that mean anything?” I shouted when I heard that.

He said that it meant the people disappearing are getting transferred through different games. 4l3x04 took the ground around a person that disappeared and saw that it had bullets made of materials that are unknown to the Minecraft world. That meant that the disappearing is taking people through games - possibly a game like Destiny which has other species, and perhaps other non-blocky worlds... they could have been transported anywhere...possibly into a battle zone... they even could have been killed!

“Well, can we get into the games?” I asked.

“Maybe, I am not sure,” 4l3x04 said. “We could go to the lab he used to work at and check it out!”

“Well then, let’s do it!” I replied. “Where is it?” I demanded.

“That's the problem,” said 4l3x04. “We do not know.  But we do know a way to find a scroll with a riddle that can help us find it. Although, unfortunately the riddle is at the bottom of the sea.”
